I had an amazing stay at Alley Youth Hostel. The value for money was excellent and the room was quiet, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the lively Muslim quarter with delicious street food and the Great Mosque just a few blocks away. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, assisting us with our questions and providing valuable recommendations for exploring the city and nearby day trips. The large common area with a billiard table and coffee service made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The breakfast selection could have been improved.

As a business traveler, I found Alley Youth Hostel to be a great place to stay. the staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful and friendly. the location was perfect, close to the Muslim street and other markets. the room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including enough sockets for my phone and power bank. the bathroom had hot water and a normal closet. the price was also very good. it was a convenient and cozy place to rest after a long day.
Felt extremely safe, no complaints whatsoever.

I recently stayed at Alley Youth Hostel in Xi'an for 4 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience feel like a family-run business. The location was perfect, situated in the vibrant Muslim district with plenty of street food stalls and a bustling market. The communal area was great, offering free activities like dumpling making and movie nights. The rooms were convenient and the breakfasts were good. a great stay for budget travelers!

The hostel's location was convenient, with a nearby metro station and sights within easy reach. The Muslim Quarter, known for its bustling atmosphere, was also just a short distance away. the bed in the room was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.
The lack of cleanliness in the hostel. The toilets in the rooms were not well-maintained, with toothpaste spilled on the basin and various items left on the rack.

the market and streets surrounding the hostel were full of charm and had a distinct character. the owner was kind, helpful, and spoke excellent English. the rooms and common areas were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the cozy lounge area where we could relax and socialize with other guests. the staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel at home. We even had the opportunity to join a dumpling-making night and meet other travelers. this hostel provided a central location, great amenities, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 👌.

We had a fantastic stay at a youth hostel in the heart of the Muslim Quarter. the staff made us feel like family, with their heartfelt goodbyes. Our double room was clean, comfortable, and newly renovated, complete with a private bathroom. the location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the local subway, Drum & Bell Towers, and the train station for easy access to the Terracotta Warriors. We loved being surrounded by the vibrant culture and food of the Muslim area, with an abundance of great food places in every direction. a truly immersive and enjoyable experience. Cons: Nothing, all was good 👍.
